Duties of the job:  QA Tester will develop and maintain test plans & test library, develop manual and automated test cases associated with projects and releases. Perform assigned testing as per the Test Plan, document and report all results and discovered problems. Maintain records of all application testing; prepare reports summarizing testing results, obtain business owner or project sponsor signoff for the project implementation, collaborate with QA and users to optimize testing, isolate bugs & issues, and track defects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write test plan, test cases, and prepare test data.
  • Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
  • Create logs to document testing phases and defects.
  • Report bugs and errors to development teams.
  • Help troubleshoot issues by trying to identify the root cause.
  • Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development life-cycle.
  • Lead a team of junior resources to ensure timely project deliverables.
  • Review and analyze application requirement specifications.

 Skills and experience required:

  • Windows & Jira.
  • Writing test cases and writing test plans.
  • Working with test automation systems provided by vendors Curiosity, detail-oriented.
  • Ability to read C# GitHub experience.
  • Familiarity with BDD (behavior driven development) or Ghirken Experience with retail software.
  • Code analysis.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Follows Agile Methodologies and SCRUM process.
  • Great written and verbal communication to QA development peers and to technical leadership Automating tests for secure, performant, scalable, and testable high-quality application and database code.
  • Follows Enterprise guidelines and standards.
  • Should be analytical and be able to troubleshoot applications.
  • Demonstrate experience with current .Net framework languages and application code design.
  • Must be able to work in a high pace collaborative software development environment.
  • A relevant IT Degree.
